LISTEN: Gemma Montrose explains what to expect coming up to the Hunter’s lodge underpass
Transport Scotland is reminding Highand Perthshire drivers that the C408 Murthly Road will be closed near Bankfoot North junction from 6 PM on Tuesday 6 October to 6 AM Thursday 8 October 2020 resulting in temporary traffic signals on the A9.
The C408 will be closed between Innewan Gardens and the C408 Murthly Road junction, either side of the existing Hunter’s Lodge underbridge, to allow the road to be resurfaced as part of tie in works for the new Bankfoot north junction slip roads.
Project sponsor for Transport Scotland, Gemma Montrose, said: “So, take care on approach to that area and follow the diversion signage.”
Transport Scotland will be manually operating them with the aim to improve traffic flow and minimise delays.
Ms Montrose adds: “During that time, we’ll also have traffic signals on the A9, to assist getting to and from Bankfoot.”
Three-way temporary traffic signals will be in place on the A9 at the Bankfoot South junction to provide access both to and from the A9 at Bankfoot.
