The Upper Tay Transport group are appealing to local residents to give their opinions regarding bus use in the Upper Tay area, as part of their work to improve community transport. The group is currently undertaking a community consultation around developing a community bus service, that could operate different services and in different ways.
Some examples of what this bus service may be able to provide include:
- a bookable service along prescribed routes, serving communities currently not served (such as Kinloch Rannoch to Aberfeldy, Dalguise etc.)
- a more regular round the town Aberfeldy service
- express services to Perth in morning and evening
- links to train services
- travel to groups and clubs
The Upper Tay Transport group would like to know more about what demand there would be any of these, or any other, services, and is looking for views and ideas from both individuals and those representing businesses, organisations or groups.
