Road users on the A9 northbound are advised to take care on approach to the A9 Dualling: Luncarty to Pass of Birnam project as the northbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for 12 nights from Monday 18 October 2021, commencing at Bankfoot South Junction.
The A9 northbound carriageway lane closure will be in place from 8:30 PM to 6 AM each night to allow BT cabling works in the road verge to be undertaken safely, as part of the finishing works for the project.
The traffic management will commence on approach to the new Bankfoot South Junction on the first night for approximately 1.2 km and progress north each night until the BT cabling works are completed at the northern extent of the project.
Road users are advised to allow additional time for your journey and take care on approach to the works area.
The planned traffic management is weather dependent is therefore subject to change, please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for more information.
