Council Offices Re-open To Visitors

Main council offices in Perth and Kinross are set to open more fully to the public from today.

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, Customer Service Centre staff at Pullar House in Perth will be on hand to welcome visitors and customers and help them to access the specific council services they require.

The Council’s Chief Operating Officer, Karen Donaldson, said: “We will be providing increased access to our main offices for people who need in-person contact; however we’d also continue to encourage anyone who can get in touch with us digitally to do so, whether by email, phone, webchat or via our MyPKC portal, which is available 24 hours a day, as the simplest and most convenient way to make contact.”

During the pandemic, in-person access for customers and visitors to Pullar House, as well as some other locality offices, was limited. In February 2022, Pullar House reopened for in-person appointments and was available five days a week for vulnerable people, complex cases, and anyone who was unable to get in contact with the office online or via email.

From today, Pullar House reception will be open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:45 am and 5 pm. Appointments can be made over the phone by dialling: 01738 475000. This can be done to ensure that the right person will be available to help you. Appointments with the Registrars team will continue to be offered via reception.

A virtual assistant will be available on a trial at Pullar House which will allow visitors and people attending for interviews and meetings to do a self-check-in.

As well as the opening of Pullar House, housing offices in Letham, Crieff and Blairgowrie have also re-opened today and will be open from Monday to Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm.
