Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership Launch Revise Emergency Carers Card

The Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership have launched their revised Emergency Carers Card, to give carers peace of mind with the assurance that the person they care for would be safe if anything happens to them.

The card forms part of the available package of support around Emergency Planning for Carers. The new design is brighter and more attractive as well as coming as a more durable card with a new design to bring the service within the Social Work/Social Care system from Community Alarms.

The card is free and features an identification number for the carer and a number to call in an emergency.

The application form is available on the Perth and Kinross Council website at https://www.pkc.gov.uk/article/14240/Support-for-carers-in-the-community which also gives a range of other support options available in Perth and Kinross.

The application can all be obtained by contacting your locality Carer Support Worker or PKAVS Carers Hib for support for people who want to apply without online access. You can find information on PKAVS at https://www.pkavs.org.uk/ or by contacting AdultCarersAdmin@pkavs.org.uk or calling 01738 567076. You can also email CarerSupport@pkc.gov.uk.
