The Pitlochry and Moulin Men’s Shed are inviting anyone who is interested in getting involved to come along to their Welcome Evening on Tuesday 1st November at 7pm. The new Shed is located in the Handam Refill Station on Burnside Road, Pitlochry.
Men Sheds are non-profit local organisations that provide a space for craftwork and social interaction in the community. The Men Shed is part of an international movement that originated in Australia in the 1980s in an attempt to improve the health and well being of older men, hence the name. The Men’s Shed have now expanded their remit to anyone regardless of age, gender or indeed skill levels.
The Men’s Shed will enable the community to have access to tools and skills that can be shared, while also providing a social space. The Welcome Evening is open to everyone with an interest in using the Shed. For further information about PAMMS, contact Pete Aitken, Chair of PAMMS: pammsmensshed@gmail.com
