NHS Tayside have confirmed the continuation of community COVID-19 testing sites throughout Highland Perthshire for those who do not have symptoms.

Anyone who does not have any of the three COVID-19 symptoms – a new continuous cough, temperature, loss or change in sense of taste or smell – are encouraged to attend the sites and be tested.

The mobile testing sites will be available from 10am-4pm daily at the following locations:

Monday: Area Offices/Library, Pitlochry

Tuesday: Aberfeldy Community Fire Station

Wednesday: Atholl Street Car Park, Dunkeld

Thursday: Davie Park, Blairgowrie

Friday: Auchterarder Fire Station

Saturday: Kinross Fire Station

Sunday: Perth Community Fire Station

The mobile testing sites are only for those who are not symptomatic COVID-19. Anyone who has symptoms should continue to book a test in the usual way via nhsinform.scot or by calling 0800 028 2816.

The testing facilities are safe and secure with strict hygiene measures in place. Attendees will be supported by staff to take a self-administered swab test. Test results will be quickly issued by text message 24-48 hours after the test.

Anyone who receives a positive PCR test result will be asked to self-isolate.

Dedicated support is available to anyone who needs to self-isolate including food packages and financial support.
