Aberfeldy RFC have announced that they will be running two summer holiday sports camps this year. Both camps will be held in July, with the first from the Monday 4th to the Wednesday 6th and the second from Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th.
The camps will be held at Wade’s Park in Aberfeldy from 9am until 1pm and are for Primary one to seven pupils. The sessions will feature Rugby but will also include a variety of sports including, football, rounders, dodgeball and frisbee among others.
Aberfeldy RFC Development Officer Gregor Ross, speaking about the holiday camps and why they are multi-sport said: “So a few people might be wondering why as a rugby club we are doing a multi sports camp.
“It’s basically just to cater to everyone’s likes, rugby is a brilliant sport, I love it but there are a lot of other popular spots out there, football, rounders, a bit of frisbee that people enjoy as well.
“So, the idea at the holiday club is just to have as much fun as possible and play as many sports as we can.”
