
The Scotland’s Women’s Football team will face a home tie against Austria in their first 2023 World Cup Play-off Match, with a potential home tie against the Republic of Ireland in the second should they beat Austria.
The Play-off matches which will take place on the Thursday 6th October and Tuesday 11th October, will decide the automatic qualifiers and the team who will enter the inter conference play-off, with two highest seeded teams earning automatic qualification.
The current FIFA World Ranking have Scotland ranked 23rd with the Republic of Ireland, Portugal, Wales and Bosnia and Herzegovina behind them and Iceland, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland ahead of them.
Fellow home Nation Wales will face Bosnia and Herzegovina and then a potential tie with Switzerland while Portugal host Belgium with the Winner playing Iceland.
