A827 and Grandtully Roadworks Diversion

Roadworks are continuing on the A827 at Eastertyre. The road is closed from Eastertyre to the Fisherman’s Entrance between 9:30am and 3pm Monday to Friday. The A827 at Eastertyre is scheduled to be closed again on Monday 14th February.

A diversion is in place while the works take place. Traffic will be diverted via A827 to the A9, down to Dunkeld and onto the A822, on to the A826 to Aberfeldy and onto the A827 to Grandtully and vice versa. (See map)

While this work takes place, maintenance has also been taking place to widen the verge at the Pitnacree Bridge. This started on the 7th February and will last one week. Temporary Traffic lights are in place to manage the traffic.

The work scheduled to start on Monday 14th February on the Pitnacree Bridge Junction with the B898 for 190m westward will now take place on Tuesday the 15th of February, from 9:30am until 3pm.

Vehicle access to properties within the road closure area will be maintained as long as the works allow and as long as it is safe to do so.

While the road is closed the Stagecoach 23 service will be disrupted and will travel to and from Perth only as far as Ballinluig.

There will be a reduced shuttle bus service in operation for passengers who need to travel from Ballinluig to Grandtully or Aberfeldy and this will travel via the road diversion.
