Residents of Highland Perthshire will be able to take part in a free beginners poetry writing workshop run by Culture Perth and Kinross, at the Breadalbane Community Library in Aberfeldy, on Thursday the 8th of September, from 6pm until 7pm.
The workshop, will operate as a drop-in event, with no booking required and will be led by local teacher Maree Grant who has a passion for poetry and twenty years teaching experience.
Those who attend the session will be given an introduction to the world of poetry, where they can express their ideas and start writing their own poems. The workshop is open to all, no matter your level of experience.
