Businesses in Highland Perthshire and across Perth and Kinross are being asked by the Council to take part in a new survey aimed at gauging their progress towards Net Zero.
The survey askes businesses about their awareness of the Scottish Government’s target to reach Net Zero by 2045 and what steps, if any, they have taken to meet this goal.
Perth & Kinross Council Environment, Infrastructure and Economic Development Convenor Councillor Andrew Parrott said: “Businesses are aware they must become more sustainable in the future and innovation is key to economic growth and.
“This survey will let us get a better picture of the situation in Perth and Kinross and where the Council can help.
“I’d urge businesses to take 10 minutes to complete the survey and help us create a greener, more sustainable economy for Perth and Kinross.”
With Councillor Richard Watters, convenor of the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee adding: “As a Council we have set out the Perth and Kinross Climate Action Plan and want to know more about what our businesses are doing.
“We all have a role to play and know businesses across Perth and Kinross are already changing the ways they work or are investing in new technology to play their part in the drive towards Net Zero.
“This survey will help us gain a better understanding of what is happening across Perth and Kinross and where support can be given.”
