In response to feedback from residents in the Highland council ward area, the Highland and Strathtay Stronger Communities team is reaching out to encourage locals to participate in a feedback form on introducing a Stronger Communities network.
The aim of the network would be to:
“Provide an opportunity for local groups, organisations and workers to come together to share what they are doing in the community and strengthen how we can work with each other in providing the right support that will enhance the lives of people in Highland and Strathtay”.
Cat Gordon from the Highland and Strathtay Stronger Communities Team said:
“We have had a few requests for a Stronger Communities network to be set up in the Highland council ward area.
“This network would provide an opportunity for local groups and organisations to come together and share information around current activities and plans.
“Attending the network will also enable groups to meet and receive key updates and opportunities from the Community Learning team and also the Health and Social Care Partnership.
“We would be interested to hear your thoughts on beginning a network in Highland area; whether this is something you would be interested in attending, what geographical area you would like the network to cover and also what you would like to get out of attending a network like this.
“This information will be really beneficial in helping us to organise something which is suitable and addresses the needs of your community groups.”
The deadline for completing the survey Is Wednesday, 30th June.
