Forestry and Land Scotland is carrying out a forest thinning operation over the next 8 to 12 weeks in Kinloch Rannoch.
They’re doing this in the forest south of the Carie car park and are asking the public to keep to the instructions found on signs around the forest paths for their safety.
A spokesperson for Forestry and Land Scotland said: “I would like to inform you of a forest thinning operation that is planned to start next week, which may affect Forestry and Land Scotland’s waymarked trails from Carrie car park, Local Authority core paths and some smaller informal paths in this area. The works are estimated to last for 8-12 weeks.
“Whilst we will endeavour to maintain the majority of routes open throughout the works, for safety reasons there are sections of trails that will have to be closed when machinery is operating close by. We will aim to divert any core paths rather than close where possible.
“We would encourage all forest users to abide by any safety notices, diversions, and barriers they might find when out in these woodlands during these works.”
