Everyone is being urged to check that they have enough of any repeat prescriptions and if they need more to make sure they place the order in plenty of time before the festive holidays.
Anyone with a non-urgent health issue over the festive holidays is asked to wait until their GP surgery reopens, contact a local community pharmacy or visit www.nhs.inform.scot for answers to common health questions and symptom checkers.
For non-life-threatening injuries that may require A&E, patients are asked to call NHS 24 on 111 day or night. If it’s an emergency call 999 or go to A&E. The public are being urged to not attend A&E with a problem that you would normally see your GP with.
