Kinloch Rannoch Community Fire Station to Hold Open Day This Month

An open day will be held at the Kinloch Rannoch Community Fire Station on Saturday 16th of October from 11am until 2pm.

The fife day will feature a range of activities with all proceeds from the day going to The Firefighters Charity and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust.

The event will have games for all ages, offer everyone the chance to sit in a real fire engine and classic fire engines, there will be food and a raffle, plus much more.

The Firefighters Charity support all current and retired members of the UK’s fire family to lice heathier and happier, offering support with mental and Physical health, social wellbeing and nursing. They also support retired firefighters and all firefighter families.

The SFRS Family Support Trust is the oldest fire and rescue charity in the UK, working specifically in the SFRS. Previously known as the Strathclyde Widows and Orphans fund the charity work to support the families and beneficiaries of firefighters in Scotland, including financial assistance, respite and events to improve the wellbeing of those they help.
