NHS Tayside is running an online event which they hope will help raise awareness of local mental health services and organisations.
‘Living Life Well in the Community’ starts at 2pm, finishing at 5:30 pm today (Thursday March 18) with a range of speakers and Q&A sessions.
Brook Marshall, Chief Executive Officer of Feeling Strong, Dundee’s youth mental health charity and co-chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Communications and Engagement group, said, “We’re so excited to be able to showcase the hard work of our communities and the role they’ve played in pulling together an ambitious strategy for mental health in Tayside.
“This event will be the first in a series of opportunities to get communities more involved with the work being done in NHS Tayside and we think this is a real demonstration of the commitment to ongoing partnership working and outreach.”

4.30pm – Community Presentation: Perth Health & Social Care Partnership
5pm – Community Presentation: Stakeholder Participation Group
The event starts with NHS Tayside chief executive, Grant Archibald, talking about the launch of the living life well campaign.
Working with over 600 local, the event will bring together ‘people with lived experience, their families and carers along with voluntary and third sector organisations, NHS Tayside staff, local authorities and Police Scotland.’

Members of the public will get the chance to participate during the event by asking questions using the Zoom Webinar Q&A feature and participant polls.
Recording of the sessions will be made available for those who can’t come along on the day.
