Pitlochry and Edradour Distillery Community Bonfire and Firework Display Tonight

The Pitlochry and Edradour Distillery Community Bonfire and Firework Display will be held at the recreation ground tonight, Friday 4th of November with gates open at 6pm.

The event is free to enter but donations are welcome, with all money raised being put towards next year’s event and the Ukraine Appeal.

Chair of the Pitlochry Bonfire Group Sarah Roberts speaking about the donation collection said: “We’ll be going round with buckets again. We’re very grateful to have Edradour Distillery as our sponsor and he’ll be continuing to sponsor us. But yes it does take quite a lot of money to organise licenses and equipment.”

There will be music on stage from Heartland FM, a Guy Competition and entertainment for children of all ages. The Bonfire will be lit at 6:45pm with the 16-minute firework display starting at 7pm.

The local scout group will be providing hot food and drinks, there will be storytelling in the pavilion from the young children, Bruce Entertainment will be bringing a bouncy castle, with music and a guest singer.

There is no parking at the recreation ground, except for disabled parking. Anyone coming by car is asked to park in the car park on Ferry Road and walk down.
