Volunteers in Pitlochry are offering to help deliver Christmas cards around the town to help raise money for the senior citizen’s bus.

Anyone who wants to send a card in Pitlochry this Christmas can take their cards to Victoria’s Restaurant where the volunteers will deliver the cards in Pitlochry for a suggested donation of 30p.

The volunteers will be collecting cards from Monday December 6 through to Thursday December 9 between 10 am to 4 pm. Then again on Friday December 10 between 10 am and 11:30 am.

Cath Marshall explained: “The local Christmas card delivery service raises money for the senior citizens in Pitlochry.

“We’ll be in Victoria’s restaurant from Monday the 6th of December through till Friday, the 10th of December 10 to four and 10 till eleven thirty on Friday.

“So, if you have cards for local delivery, please come along to Victoria’s and local volunteers will sort and deliver these for you throughout the town.

“If you’re not able to get in yourself, perhaps you could ask a friend or neighbour to bring your cards in. We suggest the donation is 30 pence per card, and all money raised goes towards the senior citizen’s bus.

“So, we hope to see lots of people there in helping to raise money for the local bus.”

The team will be delivering cards to Greengates to Aldour; Kinnaird to Port-na-Craig and everywhere in between; also Donavourd, Croftinloan, East & West Haugh, Dalshian, Ballyoukan; and the Logierait-Dunfallandy Road, including Murray Terrace.
