Police Appeal For Information Following Fatal Crash on A9

Road Policing Officers are appealing for information following a one vehicle fatal crash on the A9 between Luncarty and Bankfoot last night.

The incident occurred at around 9:20pm on Thursday 17th of November 2022 at the junction for Stanley outside Newmill farm. The vehicle involved is a white Mini Cooper.

Emergency Services attended the scene, with the driver a 55-year-old women pronounced dead at the scene. Enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

he A9 was closed northbound while road crash investigation work was carried out and re-opened around 2.30am on Friday, 18th of November 2022.

Inspector Gregory Burns said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch as you may have information that could assist with our investigation.

“Road users are also asked to check their dash-cam to see if they have footage that could help with enquiries.”
