
Carriageway resurfacing works on the A822 between the junction with Ladywell Cottage and the U159, will begin next week on Wednesday 30th November 2022.
The roadworks will last a period of two weeks during which time drivers face a significant diversion between 9am and 3pm while work is carried out.
The Westbound diversion for vehicles is, along the A9 northbound carriageway, to the A827, along to Aberfeldy and down the A826 to join the A822 at the other end.
While the Eastbound diversion will send drivers down the A822 to to the A826, up to Aberfeldy, along the A827, down the A9(south) to the Bankfoot Interchange to come off the Southbound carriageway at the junction and join the A9 Northbound carriage way before traveling back up to the A822 junction.
During the works there will be a parking and loading restriction in place, while pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained. Out with the 9am to 3pm times there will be a 30mph speed limit in place on the section of the road where work is being carried out.
