RMT members who work in ScotRail general grade roles will take 24 hours of strike action on Monday, 10th of October, as a result of a pay dispute.
The industrial action means a very limited number of services will operate, as a large proportion of ScotRail staff are RMT members inkling those working as conductors, ticket examiners, station staff, engineering depot staff, and CCTV operator.
This action means that no trains will run north of the Central belt which will see three routes operate from 7:30am until 6:30pm. These routes are:
- Milngavie to Edinburgh: Two trains per hour
- Glasgow to Lanark: One train per hour
- Glasgow to Larkhall: one train per hour
Train times for Monday will be available on the Journey Planner and ScotRail App, with updates posted on their twitter page.
Anyone who may not be able to make their journey on this day can check the Travelline Journey Planner Tool which can provide alternative forms of public transport, https://www.travelinescotland.com/lts/#/travelInfo.
