Speed Restriction on A9 Between Inveralmond and Luncarty

A 50pmh speed limit will come into place on Monday 2nd May between the Inveralmond roundabout and Luncarty.

The restriction is due to the ongoing Cross Tay Link roadworks which will see a bridge built over the River Tay just north of Inveralmond.

A new six kilometre stretch of road linking the A9 and A94 is also set to be created just north of Scone.

The key aim is to divert unnecessary traffic into Perth city centre and to address issues of congestion and pollution.

Heartland FM have approached Perth & Kinross Council asking how long the speed limit will be in place for.

The project is due to be completed by 2024 and more information can be found at https://www.perthtransportfutures.co.uk.
