The deadline to nominate people for the new Pitlochry Community Council ends tomorrow (July 22) at 4pm.
This means that anyone looking to join the council must submit their form to the council by that time and have a proposer and seconder supporting them.
Both the nominee and their proposer and seconder must be named on the electoral register and reside in the same community council area.
Promoting the position, the council explained: “Persons wishing to represent their community council must be 16 years of age, reside in the community council area and be named on the electoral register for the community council area in which they are standing. A candidate’s proposer and seconder must also be named on the electoral register and reside in the same community council area.”
