Pitlochry & Moulin Community Council 'Fish N' Chip Run'

More Local News & Info

With the help of the volunteers, 131 fish suppers were delivered last week. The response was tremendous with messages of thanks still coming in. Such was the success,s it will be done again next week to allow them to reach those that could not get a fish supper previously. It's all thanks to Hugh at The Plaice To Be for his continuing community support, the volunteers for their commitment in delivering all those suppers and to the group members that put it all together and continue to work tirelessly.

The intention is to make this a regular weekly event, as it breaks the routine of staying at home and brings a piece of normality back to the day to day of being in lockdown.

The food is paid for via a donation where possible and the group is underwriting the full cost. If you would like to donate to help this and other costs you can do so by giving to their crowdfunder.

Bruce Patterson of the group spoke to Heartland FM.
