Walking Football in Highland Perthshire

Thought you had hung up your boots, outgrown your football tops and feel your shorts are too tight to let you bend? Then this is for you. Walking football is just what it says, football but at a walking pace, you even get penalised for running. No longer do you need to sit in front of the telly or stand on the touchlines shouting you can once again take part in the beautiful game.

Walking football is growing every season and has shown many health and social benefits, reducing isolation, lowering blood pressure and heart rate, increasing muscle and improving mobility. Pitlochry Pavilion User Groups (PUGs) is looking to start a team(s) to play at the Rec. and eventually join a Perthshire league.

If you are interested then contact PUGs, you can read more about the game, the rules and how it is growing here.
