    Would you like to develop your self-awareness and gain skills and tools to support both your own and others’ wellness and mental health? GrowBiz and Plus Perth are running a series of training for individuals living in P&K with support from the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund via PKAVS. Attending the training is free of charge to people living in Perth & Kinross. Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.     A friendly outdoor swimming group for all abilities. Some people just dip, others swim a little bit further, all are welcome. Everyone swims at their own risk. Join the Facebook group for more details. Enter the water at the beach across the green space from the car park at the Dam Visitor Centre, and join the group for coffee at the Visitor Centre afterwards.

    A monthly Gaelic Café offering the chance to learn and practice the language by mixing with speakers of all ages and abilities in a relaxed atmosphere over tea and biscuits.

  • 05/02/2023, 12:00 pm: Pitlochry Repair Cafe

    Monthly session to bring your broken items to be fixed by skilled volunteers, and enjoy homemade baking, soup, hot drinks and good chat while you wait with our friendly front of house and baking volunteer team! Repairs and refreshments are all free and donations are welcome. Drop in between 12pm to 3pm.

  • 06/02/2023, 11:15 am: Chair Based Exercise

    Chair-based yoga sessions set to music. The class is run by experienced yoga instructor, Emma Burtles, to provide a gently stimulating exercise session to help keep body and mind active with all the associated physical and social benefits. All ages are welcome. We try to make transport available to help make sure everyone who needs a lift is able to attend through our local community volunteer network. Located on the cinema's mezzanine level, which is fully accessible.

  • Join the Atholl Wanderers to meet new people and stay active. Walking football is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. Guys and girls of all abilities and age, all are most welcome. No football strip required - just a pair of trainers.

  • 08/02/2023, 9:00 am: Coat Rack at the Atholl Centre

    If you are struggling to afford a winter coat this year, or if you would like to make a swap, please come in to the Atholl Centre to visit the Coat Rack. All styles, all sizes for men, women and children. People who have donated these coats, have done so, in the hope that someone else will get the benefit of them this year! The opening hours of the Atholl Centre are: Mo-Fri, 9am - 5pm.

  • 08/02/2023, 7:30 pm: Just Singin' Birnam

    Come and join our friendly mixed community choir. No previous singing experience is required, there are no solos, no auditions, no music reading. Just fantastic professional tutors with modern and ancient songs taught in the traditional "by ear" method.  If you love singing with others then come and join us. You will be made very welcome.   • Come and join our choir! All voices and adult ages welcome! We meet in the Tryst every Wednesday 7.45pm - 9.30pm in The Tryst, Church of Scotland. Our next concert is entitled "Eternal Light" and will be performed in Dunkeld Cathedral on Saturday 1st April 7.30pm.

    Join the weekly drop-in Craic ‘n’ Craft afternoons, and bring along your favourite craft or learn a new one! Enjoy a good blether over a cup of tea while working on your current creative project, or contribute to a group project in the company of fellow craft fans. There’s always a supply of wool, knitting needles, crochet hooks, fabric, rag-rugging tools and other materials to share… so you can get crafty in good company! Located on the mezzanine level of the Birks Cinema.
